What is the best money you spent in September?

Hello, Q4! 

This past month, I took stock of my closet and did some shopping, mostly for professional attire I can wear at upcoming events this fall. 

But the best money I spent filled a years-old gap in my wardrobe. When I first moved to New York, I bought a pair of tan-colored flats from Madewell that I quite literally wore until they fell apart (like, as I was walking down the street), and I’ve been looking for a replacement ever since. A week or so ago, I bought a new neutral-ish pair that I think just might fit the bill, also from Madewell. They are not a one-to-one replacement, but they are stylish and comfortable and were on sale, so win-win-win.
