Somehow, it’s already the end of March, so we’re wondering: What’s the best money you spent this month?
After a fairly frugal January and February, March was a pricer month in the Adamczyk-Skinner household. A few work commitments kept me busy and a little stressed throughout the month, so I ordered food delivery more than I would have liked. As discussed in a few of our grocery and dining out articles, I really hate spending money on takeout! That’s something I want to watch more closely in April.
One stand out of the month was the night out at a jazz club in Tarrytown. Chris paid for dinner and I bought drinks. It was such a fun night, and I’m sure we’ll be back.
But what takes the cake this month for “best money spent” is the dresser we bought for Chris’s clothes, new from Article. Considering that before the purchase he was using Ikea baskets to hold all of his things, I had no problem justifying the expense, and I love the way it looks in our bedroom.
